Medical Interpreting Services Information Forum
NABS recently announced changes to the provision of medical interpreting services. Deaf Victoria and ASLIA Victoria are jointly hosting a forum designed to inform Deaf people and interpreters about the current situation.
At this forum, facilitated by Natalie Sandon, the National Auslan Booking Service (NABS) will address the Deaf community and interpreters by clarifying recent changes and outline the decisions that have been made. The Department of Social Services and the NDIA have also been invited to address attendees.
